Teacher Appreciation
Teachers are the heart and soul of SRS! Home & School appreciates all the hard work our teachers put in every day, and their devotion to helping students become life-long learners. Home & School shows support for SRS teachers in a variety of ways:
“Start-up funds” are distributed at the beginning of the year to help them prepare their classrooms for the year ahead
Welcome Back teachers with surprises like a visit from a mobile coffee truck to fuel them for the back to school grind and matching t-shirts so they can do it in style
Catered dinners during evening parent conferences in the fall and spring
A hot chocolate bar before Winter Break for a sweet holiday send-off
A luncheon in June to celebrate the end of the year
Show your support for teachers by volunteering on the Teacher Appreciation Committee or contributing to the Teacher Appreciation Fund.
